In early April, one of my favourite photographers Hodaka “hodachrome” Yamamoto came to visit the UK, from Japan. He stayed in Brighton for three nights, and we enjoyed some great photo walks around the town and beach, with a few beers thrown in too.. sea calm the wall best of british

He then spent a few days in London, and again we managed to hang out and see a few of the alternative London sights..

It has been great seeing Hodaka’s amazing style applied to Brighton and London landmarks. Have a look at his Lomography page too..

2013 is set to be an exciting year, starting as it did with a successful solo exhibition in London’s Canary Wharf, together with a film-swap image featuring in an exhibition in Nagoya in Japan. With my website redesign thrown in too, and the Artists Open Houses show throughout each weekend in May, in which I will be opening the doors to my Brighton home alongside textiles designer Zoe Murphy, things continue apace. Hopefully there will be a time along the way for shooting a few rolls of film!
